Vulnerable Person's Central Registry Coordinator
Our client is looking to fill a temporary (3 month) full-time role for a Computer Specialist. This role will begin on 12/5/24 and last thru 3/31/2025.
The Vulnerable Persons Central Registry (VPCR) Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with state laws governing the reporting, investigation, and resolution of incidents involving vulnerable persons. This role involves managing communications between the Justice Center, the Office of Mental Health's Quality Management (OMH QM) Division, and mental health service providers. The Coordinator is responsible for relaying investigation instructions, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely and accurate follow-through by all involved parties.
Possible Key Responsibilities:

Communication Coordination:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Justice Center, OMH QM Division, and mental health service providers.
- Transmit investigation instructions to field staff and providers clearly and efficiently.

Monitoring and Compliance:
- Track the progress of investigations conducted by mental health providers to ensure alignment with Justice Center directives.
- Maintain detailed records of investigation timelines, outcomes, and compliance metrics.
- Identify and escalate delays, compliance gaps, or other issues to appropriate stakeholders.

Application Management:
- Oversee the use of the web-based and call-in VPCR application to record and delegate incidents.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness within the system.
- Provide support or training to users of the VPCR application as needed.

Reporting and Analysis:
- Compile regular reports for the Justice Center and OMH QM Division summarizing investigation statuses and trends.
- Analyze data to identify recurring issues or areas for improvement in compliance or communication
