Our client, a prestigious Glens Falls Law Firm, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their team.

Our ideal Paralegal candidate is a professional with Litigation experience. The ideal candidate has experience with draft pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs and correspondence. 

The position will pay between $55,000 and $58,000 depending upon experience. This client also provides an excellent benefits package to eligible employees.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Draft, file & serve various legal documents including, probate positions, affidavits, notices, responses, and various other surrogate court documents.


• Draft various estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Living Wills and Health Care Proxies.


• Request pertinent information/documents, and related items from clients and third parties, follow-up on unfulfilled requests.


• Assist attorneys in preparing for court hearings and appearances by obtaining all necessary documents and information.


• Establish a strong follow-up system, which includes proper calendaring to ensure court hearings and deadlines are not missed and timeline expectations are met.

Position Requirements:

• Associates Degree/Professional Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.


• At least 3 years prior office experience


• At least 1 year of legal / document preparation experience in a professional setting


• Strong scheduling skills, with great attention to detail


• Professional attitude with excellent written and verbal communications skills
