We are looking for Mutuel Clerks to work all 5 days of the event (if available). You are not mandated to work all 5 days, but as many as you can will be helpful. Betting/Mutuel Clerks will be paid an hourly rate of $17.25/hr for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday of the event and a daily rate of $273.20 on Saturday.

• Betting/Mutuel Clerks will sell, check and cash mutual tickets at a ticket window. Clerks must be able to make quick manual calculations in a very fast-paced environment and provide a high level of customer service to guests placing bets at the windows.


• Qualified candidates will be professional and personable. Experience as a cashier or bank teller is helpful. OTB experience is a plus. Clerks must be 18 years of age. They also must have 3 years of significant cash handling experience. All Betting Clerks are required to be licensed by NYS Racing and Wagering Board, which must be completed once completed training or renewed if a returning clerk.
