Our client, a respected law firm in Glens Falls, NY, known for commitment to providing exceptional legal services to the community is looking to add to their team. They specialize in practice areas such as litigation, family law, real estate, etc.


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about practicing law and eager to contribute to a variety of legal matters. Key Responsibilities:



  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law to support client matters and case strategies.

  • Client Representation: Represent clients in legal proceedings, including negotiations, hearings, and trials. Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

  • Case Management: Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all case-related tasks. Maintain detailed case files and documentation.

  • Client Communication: Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, explain legal processes, and address any concerns or questions they may have.

  • Legal Advice: Provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients based on thorough analysis and understanding of their legal matters.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies and ensure the highest quality of legal representation.

  • Professional Development: Stay current with legal developments, trends, and best practices in relevant practice areas.


Qualifications:



  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Licensing: Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant legal experience preferred, but recent graduates with strong academic credentials are also encouraged to apply.

  • Skills: Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong oral communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

  • Attributes: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical practice.
