Architectural Site Representative - Lead Lead Campus Renovation Project at SUNY Delhi
Join an impactful renovation project at SUNY Delhi as an Architectural Site Representative with Integrated Staffing, where you will oversee the transformation of key campus buildings to enhance accessibility and modernize facilities. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead the site activities of a dynamic, multi-faceted construction project spanning Evenden Hall, Welding Building, Murphy Hall, MacDonald Hall, and O’Connor Hall.
Architectural Site Representative Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site observations of the progress and quality of work, ensuring work adheres to contract documents.
- Monitor contractor schedules and report variations.
- Review and respond to requests for information (RFIs) and changes proposed by contractors.
- Coordinate and oversee required inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records, daily reports, and logs of construction activities.
- Support the project’s progression by assisting in meetings, reviewing shop drawings, and managing submittals.
· Document effort to complete work on time and materials basis that may be related to a change-order or field-order.
- Assist with payment applications and facilitate communication between all project stakeholders.

You will be part of a team focused on upgrading SUNY Delhi’s campus, including complete remodeling of science laboratories, hazardous waste disposal, asbestos abatement, and fire protection system upgrades. Civil work will also enhance the surrounding campus areas to improve safety and accessibility.
Project Timeline - Lead Campus Renovation Project at SUNY Delhi:
The project is slated to begin in early December 2024 and will run through Fall 2026. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional weekend work as needed.
Compensation:
Approx. $50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Architectural Site Representative Qualifications and Ideal Candidate:
- 7-10 years of experience managing construction projects of similar scope and size.
- A minimum of 10 years in engineering, construction management, or architecture.
- A college degree in a related field is preferred.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting construction drawings, schedules, and change orders.
- Proficient in materials review and shop drawing verification.
- Strong communication skills, an independent work ethic, and a professional demeanor are essential
